How to Become a Vista America Pilot

At ATP, below are the steps to become a Vista America pilot.

  1. Airline Career Pilot Program

    Enroll in ATP Flight School's Airline Career Pilot Program and earn an FAA commercial multi-engine pilot certificate and instrument rating.

  2. Flight Instructor Job

    Build experience as an ATP flight instructor after graduating to qualify for hiring minimums.

  3. Vista America Interview

    At 1,500 hours total flight time, recommended instructors interview with Vista America.

  4. Vista America Pilot

    After the candidate selection and interview process with Vista America, applicants receive a Conditional Offer of Employment and transition to flying as a First Officer with a Vista America operator: Jet Edge, XOJet Aviation, and Red Wing Aviation.
