Airline Sponsored Tuition Reimbursement

The Fastest Path to United Airlines.

Mesa Airlines has selected ATP as a preferred training provider to build their pilot pipelines with the best training in the fastest time frame possible, offering Airline Career Pilot Program students airline sponsored tuition reimbursement in addition to a $22,500 sign on bonus. Airline Career Pilot Program graduates have an accelerated opportunity to also enroll in the United Airlines Career Path Program (CPP). Here’s how you can take advantage of this program:

Step 1
Airline Career Pilot Program

Graduate from the Airline Career Pilot Program with CFIs.

Step 2
Build Experience as a Flight Instructor

Become a flight instructor with ATP — guaranteed instructor job for Airline Career Pilot Program graduates, earning up to $42,000 annually with airline tuition reimbursement.

Step 3
Airline Interview & Airline Tuition Reimbursement

As a certified flight instructor, complete an interview with Mesa Airlines. If you accept Mesa's offer, you are eligible to receive a $10,000 advance of your sign-on bonus paid immediately upon contract signing. They will also make a financial contribution of $5 per flight hour toward your loan payment, based on how much flight time you acquire each month between 500-1500 hours. If you did not finance your flight training, payments are made directly to you.

Step 4
Airline Pilot Job Placement

About two years after starting flight training, and with approximately $10,000 in a sign-on bonus and $5,000 in airline tuition reimbursement received, you start your new hire class with Mesa Airlines. After completion of your Initial Operating Experience (IOE), you will receive the remaining $12,500 of your sign-on bonus. Monthly tuition reimbursement payments of $625 also continue to supplement first-year airline pay for at least 12 months. Then up to two years or your captain upgrade, whichever occurs first.

Step 5
Fly for United Airlines

As a Mesa pilot you can schedule your United interview immediately after successfully completing new hire training and United's Job Fit Assessment under the United Career Path Program. This program puts you on an accelerated path to transition directly to United with no additional evaluation or interviews required, after gaining 3,000 hours of experience flying as a Mesa pilot.
