The Fastest Path to Alaska Airlines.

  1. Step 1

    Airline Career Pilot Program

    Begin your flight training in ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program. Once you earn your private pilot certificate, ATP students can apply and interview for the Horizon Air Pilot Development Program and receive a flight training stipend of $12,500; paid out as $5,000 after completing your instrument rating and $7,500 after your commercial multi-engine rating.

  2. Step 2

    Build Experience as a Flight Instructor

    Become an instructor with ATP's — flight instructor job for Airline Career Pilot Program graduates, where you can fly one of the newest and most reliable fleets, earn airline tuition reimbursement, and build flight experience faster.

  3. Step 3

    Airline Interview and Pilot Job Placement

    In two years after starting flight training, and with approximately $12,500 in airline tuition reimbursement received, complete an interview with Horizon and start your new hire class.

  4. Step 4

    Airline Pilot Job Placement

    In two years after starting flight training, start your new hire class with Horizon.

    Fly for Alaska Airlines
