100+ Hour Multi-Engine Advantage

Why Choose More Multi-Engine Training?

You are still on the same Career Tracks to the airlines. The extra multi-engine time helps you build skills and qualifications while you work toward the airlines—not instead of them.

More Time in a Multi-Engine Aircraft

Most of your cross-country and advanced training is in the multi-engine Piper Seminole rather than a single-engine trainer. You build multi-engine habits early—managing two engines, higher speeds, and complex aircraft systems—skills that translate directly to airline flying.

More Job Options While You Build Hours

While you build flight experience as an instructor after graduation, 101 hours of multi-engine time opens doors to corporate and charter (Part 135) flying jobs that often require more multi-engine experience than new instructors typically have.

Qualify to Instruct in Multi-Engine Aircraft

After graduation, most Airline Career Pilot Program students instruct in single-engine aircraft to build flight hours. With this program’s multi-engine experience, you can also qualify to teach in the Seminole—building hours faster in a multi-engine aircraft and deepening the skills airlines look for.

Graduates of this program receive preferential consideration for multi-engine instructor positions with ATP.
