100+ Hour Multi-Engine Experience Advantages & Program Details

By selecting the 100+ Hour Multi-Engine Option for the Airline Career Pilot Program, you will be eligible for a multi-engine flight instructor job with ATP and be ready for most entry-level corporate flying jobs.

Faster, Farther

Flying the multi-engine Piper Seminole for 100 hours puts you in a faster aircraft during the majority of your training, allowing you to cruise farther on your cross-country flights and gain proficiency in a wide range of operating environments.

More Corporate Flying Opportunities

Having 100 hours of multi-engine experience gives you the competitive edge for entry-level corporate and part 135 flying opportunities, and allows you to explore more low-time flying job options before moving on to the airlines.

Eligible for Multi-Engine Instructor Job

With greater multi-engine experience, you'll exceed the qualifications necessary to instruct in multi-engine aircraft. This allows you to enhance your qualifications prior to moving to the airlines, becoming thoroughly proficient in multi-engine aircraft operations and a benefit that will help you during your airline training.

As a 100+ Hour Multi-Engine Option graduate, you will receive preferential consideration for multi-engine instructor positions with ATP. The highest performing instructors may be chosen for a Regional Multi-Engine Flight Standards Instructor where you can earn an additional $862.50 per month.
