ATP has 8 Redbird simulators: 2 FMX, 1 Redbird LD Devices, and 9 Redbird G1000 Trainers. These trainers are FAA certified as an Advanced Aviation Training Devices and are equipped with features such as wrap-around visuals, realistic flight controls, and interchangeable cockpits.

Airline Career Pilot Program students can practice in simulators for free, as often as they'd like, anytime it is not in use or scheduled for a lesson by an instructor!

  • Exterior Shell: Aluminum cockpit enclosure.
  • Motion Platform: Electrically driven, motion base capable of simulating roll, pitch and yaw motions.
  • Motion Control System: Hardware and software to safely command Motion Platform movements to enhance simulation with physical cues.
  • Primary Flight Control: Single yoke/center stick/side stick with optional Control Loading system. Interchangeable depending on aircraft configuration.
  • Rudder Pedals: Standard rudder pedals with differential brakes.
  • Throttle Quadrant: Controls for throttle, propeller, and mixture as appropriate to aircraft being simulated. Interchangeable depending on aircraft configuration.
  • Avionics Panel: Controls for flight instruments, GPS(s), radio(s), and autopilot as appropriate to aircraft being simulated. Interchangeable depending on aircraft configuration.
