Republic Airways Agreement & On-Site Interviews

January 24, 2013

ATP has entered into an agreement with Republic Airways, in which Republic will conduct HR interviews and offer conditional offers of employment (COEs) to ATP instructors and Airline Career Pilot Program students as early as the commercial phase of training. Successful applicants will receive a COE, plus an instructor job with ATP to build flight experience.

Republic Airways On-Site Interview

As part of this new agreement, Republic Airways recently started conducting onsite interviews at ATP's Phoenix-Mesa and Jacksonville Beach Training Centers. Republic Airways' Director of Operations, Alex Osleger, interviewed a total of 30 ATP instructors. All performed very well and after the formality of background checks are complete, Republic will begin sending conditional offers of employment. Republic recruiters will continue to visit ATP’s Flight Training Centers monthly to interview ATP Instructors.

In 1984, ATP pioneered accelerated, professional multi-engine flight training with an emphasis on pilot career development. Today ATP’s Airline Career Pilot Program prepares pilots for airline careers with nationwide flying experience in multi-engine aircraft. Airline hiring partnership letters with 10 leading regional airlines recognize the value of this experience, by offering ATP pilots specially reduced flight time minimums for airline employment, enabling pilots to reach their career goals faster. ATP flies over 9,000 hours, provides more than 350 FAA pilot certifications each month at 28 locations nationwide, and delivers more pilots to the regional airlines than any other single flight school, college, or academy.
