"ATP's alumni represent the most professional pilot group in the industry," said Chris Carey, Director of the ATP Alumni Association, United Airlines® pilot, and 2004 ATP graduate. "This investment in providing them access to the FIRC demonstrates our appreciation of them and commitment to their life-long success."

In addition to continuing education, the ATP Alumni Association also fosters the growth of alumni through sponsoring networking events nationwide and facilitating mentorship opportunities by connecting graduates.

"ATP’s Alumni Association provides fantastic benefits to the school’s graduates and we are thrilled to help those pilots maintain their CFI Certificates, even after they are flying professionally. Our hope is that many graduates will decide to give back to aviation by sharing their extensive knowledge and experience and helping to teach the next generation of pilots", commented Barry Knuttila, King Schools’ CEO.

About ATP Flight School Training Pilots Since 1984

ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program prepares pilots for airline careers from zero time to 1,500 hours, with CFI jobs and airline employment. Addressing the pilot shortage, airlines attract new pilots to the industry with ATP's Tuition Reimbursement Program, where airlines sponsor a portion of pilots' flight training loan repayment. ATP also provides type-rating and ATP CTP certification. ATP's 611 aircraft fly over 557,000 hours each year to provide over 12,800 FAA pilot certificates and ratings. As America's largest flight school, ATP is the leading supplier of professionally trained pilots to the nation's regional airlines.
