Unlike recreational flight schools or clubs, your hourly flight charge is all-inclusive. You won't be required to pay extra for things like fuel, pre- and post-flight briefings, renter's insurance, aircraft checkout fees, scheduling charges, or aircraft checklists and handbooks.

The ATP Essentials Pass gives you access to all of your training and career essentials, including Elevate ground school, online training library, ground school support videos, training and checkride support teams, full career services, access to every regional airline cadet program, and more.

You Should Also Budget For

As a pilot, there are some materials you'll need — and may already have — that you'll want to budget for and will use during training, such as a headset, iPad, flight bag, and third-party app subscriptions.

Learn more about the items you will need for flight training.

During training, you'll take practical and knowledge tests to earn your certification. There are fees associated with these tests, paid directly to the examiner and third-party provider.
