ATP Flight School and Mountain Air Cargo have reconfirmed their partnership and a shared commitment to developing professional pilots, through forming a Preferred Hiring Gateway program and promoting a career path to FedEx with the Purple Runway Pathways program.

By taking advantage of this unique partnership, ATP instructors are provided with streamlined advancement to a pilot position with Mountain Air Cargo. This career path for Airline Career Pilot Program graduates offers pilots the opportunity to gain valuable pilot in command time and part 121 and 135 flight experience while being mentored by senior pilots. Tuition Reimbursement Programs are also available through feeder operators.

After 6 months of employment with Mountain Air Cargo, eligible ATP graduates have the opportunity to enter the Purple Runway Pathways program, providing an efficient and direct path to a pilot career at FedEx. This innovative program offers ATP instructors who become Mountain Air Cargo pilots and are accepted into the Purple Runway Pathways program the opportunity to participate in the FedEx pilot selection process and interview, once required qualifications are met. This program makes ATP and Mountain Air Cargo the first and last stop for aspiring pilots seeking a career with the world's largest freight operator.
