As he grew up in San Diego, California, Trystan spent much of his childhood immersed in the performing arts, beginning his journey in theatre at a young age. After earning a university degree, he began exploring new opportunities and searching for a career path that aligned with his interests and ambitions.
One thing remained constant throughout his life: a love for travel. Whether it was airports, airplanes, or the excitement of travel days, he found himself drawn to aviation and the opportunities it created to explore the world.
After visiting some incredible destinations over the years, Trystan reached a point where he knew it was time for a career change. With the decision to pursue something new, he needed a clear and structured pathway that could help him successfully transition into aviation.

While researching options towards his next steps, he discovered ATP Flight School and was encouraged by the fact that there were multiple training centers in the San Diego area.
After touring the facilities and completing a discovery flight, he felt an immediate connection to the program. Although he knew committing to flight training would be a major decision, something about ATP felt right.
