Between being named after Kitty Hawk, the location of man's first powered flight, and being raised by a pilot and flight attendant, Kitty Leineke seemed destined to love aviation.
Kitty initially pursued her passion for aviation as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines, a role she absolutely loved. But her perspective changed when her brother, Jet, was building flight time and needed someone to tag along.
Spending time around flight training and having the opportunity to ride in the jumpseat of a Boeing 757 helped Kitty recognize that her true passion wasn't in the cabin. She wanted to be behind the controls.
Knowing she wanted to transition from cabin crew to the flight deck, Kitty needed a training program that could prepare her for a professional airline career in a timely and efficient manner.
