Oshkosh, WI — July 23, 2026

Boeing and ATP JETS recently announced a new agreement under which ATP JETS will license Boeing OEM technical publications and use Boeing's Miami Training Campus simulators and training facilities for 737NG Type Rating and ATP CTP courses. ATP JETS is the first North American third-party Part 142 to license Boeing OEM training manuals for the 737NG FAA-approved training courses.

Shane Kelley, vice president & director of operations for ATP JETS, and Chris Broom, vice president of Boeing Commercial Training Solutions, commemorated the agreement at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin.

The agreement is intended to enhance training capacity for professional pilots and support continued industry demand for type-rated 737NG crews. The simulator time at the Miami facility enables ATP instructors and students to train in realistic, high-fidelity scenarios designed to reinforce operational competency, systems knowledge, and crew resource management skills essential to safe and effective airline operations.

In addition to exclusive simulator access, ATP JETS will receive Boeing OEM training manuals for the 737NG. These manuals provide technical and procedural guidance that supports consistent, standards-aligned instruction and assessment throughout the type rating program.

"As the industry evolves, access to manufacturer-developed training materials and high-quality simulator time is essential for producing proficient, safety-focused pilots," said Chris Broom, vice president of Commercial Training Solutions, Boeing. "This collaboration with ATP JETS reinforces Boeing's commitment to delivering comprehensive training solutions that meet the needs of flight schools and carriers worldwide."

"FAA compliance is foundational to how ATP JETS conducts training," said Shane Kelley, Vice President & Director of Operations, ATP JETS. "This agreement provides a licensing framework for incorporating current Boeing OEM technical publications into our FAA-approved training programs. Combined with access to Boeing’s Miami Training Campus, it strengthens the integrity of our curriculum and supports consistent, standards-based training."
