The 30th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference will be held from Thursday, March 14th through Saturday, March 16th, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Girls in Aviation Day Long Beach will be held on Saturday, March 16th from 9:30am to 3pm. Girls from ages 8 to 17 will be introduced to the career possibilities and amazing lifestyle aviation and aerospace present. Through a host of hands-on activities, speakers, games and more, girls get immersed in all that aviation has to offer.
2019 WAI Conference Highlights:
Keynote Speaker: Capt. Tammie Jo Shults
One of the first female F/A-18 Hornet pilots in the United States Navy, and after concluding her Navy career she became a pilot for Southwest Airlines. Her successful landing of Southwest Flight 1380, after an engine failure and decompression, saved the lives of 143 passengers.
