In your Private Pilot Certificate Program, you'll learn the fundamentals of flight and accomplish your first solo.

Payment

Reserve your class date with a $995 non-refundable deposit, by calling ATP Admissions at 904-595-7950. The $995 non-refundable and non-transferable payment will be applied to the cost of your program and is required to reserve your start date.

Full payment is due upon arrival for training. Allocate approximately $800 for the private pilot checkride fee paid directly to your Designated Pilot Examiner. Please also refer to the Airline Career Pilot Program payment schedule.

Call 904-595-7950 and schedule your Private Pilot Certificate Program. ATP recommends scheduling 30 days in advance for adequate preparation and to ensure availability.

  • US Citizenship (or Permanent Resident)
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Adherence to Height and Weight Limits - Students taller than 6'3" will be assessed during an Introductory Training Flight for comfort level inside the aircraft and the ability to fully manipulate the controls. Due to aircraft operational limitations, students weighing more than 250 lbs may be denied training in ATP aircraft.

After earning your Private Pilot Certificate, continue on your path to becoming an airline pilot by transitioning to ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program. In as little as 6 months, you will graduate as a commercial multi-engine pilot and flight instructor, with a direct path to all major airlines. ATP offers a Flex Track option for students who cannot dedicate full time to training and need flexible scheduling to balance their training with college classes.
